Horace Parlan, known for his numerous albums as a leader on the prestigious Blue Note label and Scandinavian jazz label Steeplechase, recorded this May 2, 1990 live performance at Sunset in Paris, France, with his trio. This superb stereo soundboard recording features him performing six songs with Pierre Boussage (bass) and Al Levitt (drums), including "No Blues," "Reflections," "Almost Like Being in Love," and "Have You Met Miss Jones." Despite being handicapped by the inability to move two fingers on his right hand, Horace Parlan developed a unique playing style and left behind many memorable performances.
