This is a live recording of Jack Bruce, the bassist of Cream, leading his own band. It's a remastered recording from a first-generation audience tape, offering a tight, high-quality sound. While Cream was known for its blues-based rock sound, Jack Bruce also frequently collaborated with fusion-oriented musicians, and this live performance showcases that side of him. The band members are the same as those on the recently recorded album, *How's Tricks*, with drummer Simon Phillips, known for his work with fusion artists like Jeff Beck and Stanley Clarke, as well as hard rock bands like Judas Priest and Michael Schenker.
