Necromancer Label reissues rare titles from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was distributed only in very limited quantities, using officially acquired masters.

Many people may not recognize the band name, but they were an incredible jam band that mainly performed Grateful Dead covers. Led by the technically skilled guitarist Jimmy Herring, who has long been friends with Derek Trucks and others, the band features Alphonso Johnson on bass (known for his work with Weather Report and Santana Band) and Billy Cobham on drums, who honed his skills under Horace Silver and made a powerful impression with the Mahavishnu Orchestra. This rhythm section is a dream come true for jazz-rock fans. And John Scofield will be making a guest appearance.
