Live at Arie Crown Theater, Chicago, IL, USA, August 8, 1972
This newly unearthed live recording is here for the first time! Recorded from a newly discovered, high-quality audience recording master, this recording captures the final performance of the Jeff Beck Group's Chicago concert on August 8, 1972.
Until now, the 1972 Chicago performance has been known for its May 13th performance early in the tour, but this recording is from the same venue, but at an August performance, vocalist Bob Tench was replaced by Kim Milford, and this is a rare live recording of a very short-lived lineup featuring Tim Bogert, who would later become a trio, Carmine Appice on rhythm, and Max Middleton on keyboards.
According to the records, this was vocalist Kim Milford's final performance, and the live performance was just before the trio later became "BBA"!
