This is a superb live video recording of the trio featuring guitarists Larry Coryell and Bireli Lagrene, plus upright bassist Aladar Pege, digitally remastered from the broadcast-quality pro-shot master. The performance took place in Cologne, Germany in 1994, and while not quite top-of-the-line, the video maintains consistently high image quality throughout. The camerawork, which focuses on close-ups of the three musicians' hands, is breathtaking. Needless to say, the performance of Coryell and Lagren, the "super guitar" duo, is outstanding, but you will be absolutely blown away by the overwhelming playing of Aladar Pegue, who is called the "Paganini of bass."
