This recording captures the Michael Schenker Fest 2019 concert at Concord Music Hall, Chicago, IL on May 4th. Featuring new drummer Bodo Schopf, this Chicago performance marks the start of his North American tour in mid-April. While the setlist itself hasn't undergone major changes, the rearrangement of song order creates a fresh and immersive listening experience. Michael's high level of motivation is directly conveyed, and his guitar work shines from beginning to end. The effective use of the four vocalists and the smoother staging compared to the Japanese performances result in a fast-paced and enjoyable concert. It's a truly excellent and well-executed concert. A bonus track features approximately 20 minutes of "Rock Bottom" from the San Francisco concert in April 2019. The sound quality is excellent, thanks to the high-quality audio source used in this audience recording. The direct sound quality, with excellent separation and presence, provides a consistently high-fidelity listening experience.
