This is a live recording from the first day of the Nice Jazz Festival in 1988, where they performed for two days. The FM broadcast master has been remastered. Radio noise has been removed, the stereo image has been slightly narrowed for a more focused sound, and the equalization has been readjusted. At the end, Miles is unusually cheerful and says "See you tomorrow," and the recording from that following day is also available from the same label, so we recommend checking that out as well.
