This is a live recording of a unit formed by Maureen Tucker and Sterling Morrison of The Velvet Underground. While solo recordings of Lou Reed and John Cale are common, this unit is quite rare. Maureen primarily handles vocals, with Sterling Morrison supporting on guitar. On "I'm Sticking With You" from the Velvet Underground era, you can hear her precariously charming vocals, just as they were back then. Maureen's vocals on "Pale Blue Eyes" are also quite distinctive. The band-style performances feature a surprisingly Patti Smith-esque singing style, and you can also enjoy Sterling Morrison's Velvet Underground guitar work.
