This recording features Mountain's 1985 US tour performance at The Ritz: New York City, NY, on June 5th. This tour was in support of the album "Furin Kazan (Go for Your Life)," released in 1985 after their third reunion. The band is a trio consisting of drummer Corky Laing, and bassist and vocalist Mark Clarke (who has also been in Rainbow), and Leslie. The overall sound is based on simple hard rock, a different sound from when Felix Beckham was in the band. Leslie's guitar work is very simple yet fluid, and although this was a period of decline for Mountain, you can enjoy a very pleasant hard rock sound. The sound quality is stable and high-fidelity thanks to the use of an SBD source.
