This recording captures Neal Schon's Journey Through Time Tour 2019, specifically the February 23rd performance at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA (USA). This is a solo tour by Journey spokesman Neal Schon. The tour's most striking feature is the star-studded lineup, including Gregg Rolie and Dean Castronovo. The performance is surprisingly relaxed and engaging. The setlist includes plenty of talk between songs, a wide range from early Journey tracks, and even a cover of Santana's "Black Magic Woman." Despite some personal troubles, Dean Castronovo plays energetically, showcasing his drumming skills and vocal talent.
