Noel controlled the band with even more refined musical diversity and depth. Liam, a rock vocalist with a commanding presence, seemed to have reached the pinnacle of maturity. After 16 long years of stints with the High Flying Birds, Beady Eye, and solo careers, the two continued to move forward, never stopping, but finally stood on the same stage, showcasing heart-pounding harmony and chemistry, and a collaboration that evoked just the right amount of tension.
