This 2.5-hour recording captures the new trio, featuring Christian McBride on bass and Antonio Sanchez on drums, at their Milan concert on June 28, 2004, using audience footage. Filmed with a single camera from the upper stage, there are occasional moments of shaky camera work, but the sound quality is good, making this a fairly excellent title. As seen in their Japanese performance the previous year, Pat's aim with this new trio wasn't to satisfy the so-called "insatiable thirst for jazz sound" that had been present in many of his side projects alongside PMG, but rather to approach the unique PMG sound, which he had consistently pursued since its formation in 1977, from a different angle.
