Prince began his first world tour in Hong Kong in 2003. Unlike the Musicology tour that would later evolve, this tour featured a plethora of past hits. He declared at the time that he would forgo those hits from then on. He stopped saying that and would instead utter MC comments like, "I have too many hits." In any case, this unnamed 2003 world tour could be considered a prelude to the Musicology tour. This is a rare live performance in some ways, a 3-CD set featuring two Melbourne shows from Australia. The setlist is almost identical to the Hong Kong performance, and since the Hong Kong recordings are still available only partially broadcast, not only for the aftershows but also for the main show, this title is all we can hope for. While the 22nd performance isn't a complete recording, it does include a piano set featuring new songs like "Sleep on the Couch," "Forever in My Life," and "One Kiss at a Time," as well as a funky encore, which are different from the previous performances.
