This is a masterpiece of an outtakes collection. First, Wendy sings "Our Destiny," which is likely related to the leaked soundboard recording of a live performance from 1984. Prince sang the vocals on that live performance. While some say the backing material was taken from that performance, the newly leaked recording sounds like a completely studio recording. Then there's the astounding "Vicki Waiting," which features some incredibly funky cutting and a chaotic, never-before-heard extended portion of Prince. This masterpiece depicts Prince's encounter with a woman, ending with him dumping her at the Eiffel Tower, with the genius of his time, using funky guitar cutting and groovy keyboards. This is the full-length version of Lust U Always, an early Prince masterpiece that only existed in a 10-second snippet. It sounds completely different from the instrumental version. Other tracks include Take Me To Your Leader, which Prince wrote for Dale Bozzio, a wonderful rendition that feels like a return to the danceable pop sound Prince used to give women. The full set also includes the remixes of 2 Nite, including those only available on vinyl. Disc 2, featuring leaked early outtakes, primarily features early recordings created for radio and, since disco was still in its heyday at the time, extended versions for disco.
