From the two second configurations mentioned above, they toured South America with a new band, and upon their return, they finally created the configuration known as "Thunder," which is included as the first track. However, this version may have been a demo and was not leaked. Therefore, the completed Dr. Fink album version is included. Daddy Pop and Diamonds and Pearls also feature the Dr. Fink album versions, and Tony Interlude, a light jazz instrumental called "Joyful Sound," is included as the first configuration version. The following track, "Cream," uses Take 2 of the Diamonds and Love mix. Strollin' and Willing and Able use the Dr. Fink version, and Horny Pony uses Version 2 of the Diamonds and Love mix. Junghead features the Dr. Fink album version, and here we have Old Friends 4 Sale. When it was written in 1985, Claire Fisher added strings, but this version was rewritten from personal lyrics written in 1991 and also features Claire's strings. This is the version from The Vault...Old Friends 4 Sale, and that's what we've included. The rest is the Dr. Fink album version. However, the track order is slightly different from the actual Diamonds and Pearls album, and different versions of the songs are included, creating a very interesting flow with different atmospheres.

And as bonus tracks, we also have the beautiful melody Lauriann, a track written for Rosie Gaines (though no Rosie version exists), Streetwalker (featuring Prince and Rosie as backing singers), Glam Slam '91, and a mix of those Diamonds and Love tracks.
