This is an extremely rare title, remastered from newly discovered master tapes. This is the first time these completely unreleased master tapes have seen the light of day.

In 1979, as part of their legendary Jazz Tour, Queen embarked on their third tour of Japan. Of the 15 dates, five were held at the Budokan, and now, recordings from four of those performances have been discovered. These recordings are being released as "UP FIELD TAPES BUDOKAN," in two titles, each containing two performances. Volume 1 includes the April 14th and April 23rd performances, while Volume 2 includes the April 24th and April 25th performances.

Furthermore, a replica of the ticket from the day of the performance, discovered along with the audio, is included.

While the sound quality isn't the best due to it being an audience recording, it's a precious record of a unique band's performance in Japan, and its high historical value has led to its release. Audience recording enthusiasts will surely enjoy it.
