Two live recordings from 2021, sure to send Genesis fans into a frenzy, are being released simultaneously. This is Steve Hackett's Genesis project, recreating the famous live album "Seconds Out" from his time with the band. Nad Sylvan's vocals are reminiscent of Peter Gabriel, and they pair perfectly with Gabriel-era songs like "Enchanted Broadway." The other title mentioned above, released simultaneously, is from the reunited original Genesis with Phil Collins. These live recordings took place around the same time. The original Genesis focuses on setlists from Phil Collins' later period, while Steve Hackett's project focuses on setlists from mid-period Genesis. However, there are overlapping songs, such as "First of Fifth," making it exciting to compare them. On guitar, it's Daryl Starmer versus Steve Hackett, and on vocals, it's Phil Collins versus the Peter Gabriel-type Nad Sylvan.
