We have received a professional video recording of Sting's arena concert held in Verona, Italy on May 6, 1988. A soundboard recording containing approximately half of this show was recently released, but this release features the complete 2.5-hour recording of all songs. Because it uses an analog master, the picture and sound quality are somewhat rough, but it's a professional video recording of Sting's spectacular stage performance at the peak of his career, featuring many star players from the jazz scene. Sting's vibrant and youthful stage performance and his enthusiastic, show-stopping frontmanship earned him thunderous applause. Mino Cinelu and Branford Marsalis, who had a more subdued image in Miles Davis's band, also seemed to be spurred on by the energy, letting loose and letting loose. This is a must-see for anyone who wants to witness these moments on video.
