The Beatles' final live performance, "The Rooftop Concert," took place on the roof of Apple Inc. at 3 Savile Row in London on January 30, 1969. Portions of the performance were featured as highlights in the 1970 album and film "Let It Be." More recently, the entire performance was released on film in the documentary "The Beatles: Get Back," and has since been released in theatrical release and digitally. This new expanded Blu-ray edition features two different versions of "The Rooftop Concert" in full HD Blu-ray format: a complete version based on the theatrical release film version, and an alternate extended version edited from a different angle. While the film and documentary intersperse street scenes and interviews between performances, this edition features the complete performance uncut. Each version is edited from multiple angles, making it distinct from previous releases. In addition to high-quality full HD video, this complete Blu-ray edition also features two audio options: high-quality PCM high-resolution (96 kHz/24-bit) stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround. The alternate extended version edited from a different angle and additional bonus footage, such as promotional videos and trailers, are also included in HD quality. This special Blu-ray edition captures The Beatles' final performance, "The Rooftop Concert," in the highest quality possible.
