This special live performance by U.K. took place prior to the "Eddie Jobson 40th Anniversary Special Concert" on November 8, 2013. This highly anticipated project features a complete re-creation of U.K.'s two classic albums, "The Four Patriots" and "Danger Money," with the track order intact. This ultra-high-quality recording captures that special stage performance, combining Wildlife's original, ultra-high-quality audience master with the IEM source used by John Wetton onstage, in an exquisitely balanced mix!
This performance featured two classic albums performed in the exact order they were recorded. Disc 1 covers the entire performance, from "The Four Patriots" to the drum solo, while Disc 2 covers the entire performance, from "Danger Money" to the encore. After each disc, a bonus track is added, recording the sound check from the day from John's IEM source. This is also highly engaging content.
In recent years, the Wildlife label has released complete recordings of Eddie Jobson's Japan shows on high-quality audio sources, but this release boasts the most balanced and exceptionally clear sound image of them all. This is truly a definitive release, worthy of being called the "definitive edition"!
