Eddie Jobson - violin, keys, backup vocals
John Wetton - bass and vocals
Terry Bozzio - Drums
Eddie Jobson, John Wetton, and Terry Bozzio have been performing together since 1979. This release captures the performance from the 6th day of their highly anticipated 2012 world tour—the May 8th show in Philadelphia at the World Cafe—from the dream trio's first world tour in 33 years. The recording is a superb 24-bit digital remaster from a high-quality audience master.
Thanks to the label's meticulous 24-bit mastering, the sound boasts piercing clarity, with every single note played by the three musicians clearly defined and separated, creating a rich and expressive sound with exceptional depth. This is an incredibly superb sound quality, reaching the ultimate line-recording level for an audience recording.
While the band's cohesion is still developing, Terry Bozzio's phenomenal drum solo, exceeding 11 minutes, and John Wetton's vocals, already outstanding from the opening Chicago show, shine even brighter in this Philadelphia performance.
Since Terry Bozzio will not be participating in the European tour, this trio lineup will perform a total of 20 shows, including the Japanese performances. Needless to say, each of these performances will be extremely valuable, and they are recorded in the highest sound quality, comparable to the previously released New York performance.
