A great compilation of Yes-related material has arrived. First up is Hard Rock Live from 1998, part of the Open Your Eyes tour, recorded from a VH-1 broadcast. They also toured Japan that year. The coupling track also includes a recent live performance by Yes's legendary guitarist, Steve Howe, and his trio, captured in excellent footage likely recorded by someone involved with the band. Despite being filmed with a handheld camera, the shots are superb and create a strong sense of presence. This is a must-have album that will appeal to both those who saw him perform in Japan in '98 and those who want to enjoy the latest Steve Howe!
