This recording captures Deep Purple's performance on November 17, 1993, at Jaahalli, Helsinki, Finland, during the "The Battle Rages On Tour." This was the final performance for Ritchie Blackmore, a key figure in Deep Purple, and marked the band's seventh reunion. However, with Ian Gillan's relationship with the band becoming irreparable, and despite a Japanese tour scheduled for December, Blackmore left the band after this performance, making it a historic event for Deep Purple. It's unclear if Ritchie himself was aware that this would be his last performance, but the energy and power of this show were incredible, making it hard to believe it was his final performance. The band as a whole delivered a fantastic performance, with ample time for each member's solos and plenty of opportunities to hear Ritchie's improvisations, making it a truly superb live show. Three soundboard recordings of songs performed that day are included as bonus tracks. Considering the era of 1993, the sound quality is excellent, capturing the atmosphere and power of the show with stable, high-quality sound, allowing you to fully enjoy this historic performance.
