This recording features Eric Clapton's 2007 American Tour performance at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, USA, on March 18th. In 2007, Clapton held the charity concert "Crossroads," resulting in a more restrained tour schedule and fewer concerts overall. This particular live performance is incredibly energetic and impressive. With three guitarists, including Eric, the sound is incredibly rich and full. The presence of supporting guitarists allows Eric to play with confidence and power, both on guitar and vocals. Derek Trucks of the Allman Brothers Band delivers a superb slide guitar performance. Despite being an audience recording, the sound quality is excellent, with superb sound separation and a strong sense of presence, maintaining high fidelity throughout.
