Eric Clapton 1975 Japan performance October 27 Kitakyushu Shiritsu This recording captures a live performance at Sougou Taiikukan: Kita-Kyushuu, Japan. This was Eric Clapton's second consecutive Japan tour following his first visit in 1974, and his first performance in the Kyushu region. The tour also served as promotion for his 1975 album "In Search of a Place of Rest," and the concerts during this period featured different sets each day, making every performance feel fresh and innovative. Eric's signature song "Layla" was the opening number, and the audience's excitement was incredible. It's truly amazing to see Eric Clapton, just 30 years old, playing so brilliantly. The live performance itself is incredibly high-energy, and the excitement of the venue, being his first live performance in Kyushu, is at its peak. The sound quality is excellent. Although it's an audience recording and has a slight dated feel, the recording is solid throughout, providing a great sense of presence, and there is virtually no influence from the audience noise of the time, allowing you to enjoy a stable live performance.
