The Necromancer series reissues rare titles from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was only distributed to a very limited number of people, using officially acquired, legitimate masters. Introducing the "Locked Room" label, specializing in rock and pop music.

Five performances at the Royal Albert Hall, a collaboration between Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood reminiscent of the legendary band Blind Faith's revival, are being released simultaneously. Highlights include Winwood's renditions of "Presence of the Lord" and "Voodoo Child," both sung by the original vocalist. "Voodoo Child" is, of course, a Jimi Hendrix masterpiece, but this is not the shorter, more commonly covered version, "Slight Return," but the heavier, third track from "Electric Ladyland." Steve Winwood was playing organ on this album at the time, and it was at Jimi's request. Pay attention to Steve Winwood's playing as an organist, which Jimi Hendrix himself admired. Furthermore, this is a great live album with Willie Weeks and the masterful Steve Gadd supporting the rhythm section. The sound quality is good across all performances, remastered from the audience master. On the first day, he doesn't seem to be in top form yet, as "LAYLA" and "CROSSROADS" are not as good. On the other days, "MIDLAND MANIAC," "DRIFTIN'," "PEARLY QUEEN," and "STILL GOT THE BLUES" are swapped out.
