Chinese Democracy, Guns N' Roses' fourth album, took approximately 14 years and a huge amount of money to produce. It was released in November 2008 after a difficult birth. Fans are already familiar with this studio album, with numerous fragmented demo recordings circulating prior to its release. Now, however, a rare multi-track master recording, released just before the final mix, has finally seen the light of day. It's titled, appropriately enough, "The Making of Chinese Democracy." Vol. 2 features the last six tracks from the album, beginning with "Riad N' The Bedouins," as seven separate tracks for each song (① Drums (Kick), ② Drums (Snare), ③ Drums (Cymbals), ④ Bass, ⑤ Guitar, ⑥ Vocals, ⑦ Other Instruments) across three discs. The appeal of these completely separate tracks is that they clearly showcase the high level of skill of each member, as well as Axl's unique vocals. Disc 4 includes an instrumental version of "CHINESE DEMOCRACY," a mixdown of the multi-tracks included on Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.
