This release couples a live performance from Jeff Beck's 1975 US tour immediately following the release of his breakthrough album "Blow by Blow" (May 10th at Riverside Theater: Milwaukee, WI USA), with rehearsals from the 1975 tour and outtakes from his masterpiece "Wired." Having released "Blow by Blow," a pioneering all-instrumental album, and achieving worldwide success, Jeff Beck himself is incredibly high-energy and delivers a powerful performance that conveys a high voltage from beginning to end. The raw energy that can only be heard during this period makes this a fantastic live performance. The dress rehearsals held in the fall of 1974 for the 1975 tour offer a different playing style compared to the studio take. The "Wired" outtakes are also quite rare and showcase Jeff Beck's stoic approach to album production. The sound quality of the 1975 American concert recording is excellent, with a directness and clarity that belies its age. The rehearsal and wired outtakes have had their recording hiss noise removed as much as possible, and while some noise remains, they are line-recorded and therefore stable to listen to.
