This recording captures the live performance from October 11, 2013, at the Toyota Presents the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut, during Jeff Beck's US tour. As the collaborative tour with Brian Wilson progressed, the members of Jeff's band delivered highly polished performances; the show is excellent overall, and Jeff Beck himself appears to be thoroughly enjoying the concert. While the setlist itself remains largely unchanged, the running order varies from show to show, giving the same songs a distinct atmosphere depending on the specific performance. It is a rock-solid live show. During the encore, the full lineup—featuring members of The Beach Boys, the Brian Wilson Band, and the Jeff Beck Band—performs a selection of Beach Boys hits. Regarding sound quality: although it is an audience recording, it is of very high quality, offering great clarity and a vivid sense of presence for a consistently enjoyable listening experience.
