It's a joint live performance with the Jan Hammer Group, a tour so successful that the best takes from this tour were officially released as "Live Wire" in 1977. The performance is incredibly high-energy and powerful, with a fantastic tension between Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer creating a superb concert. Despite being an audience recording, the sound quality is excellent, showing no signs of its age, with clear sound, a strong sense of presence, and a stable tonal balance.
