The Necromancer series reissues rare titles from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was only distributed in very limited quantities, using officially acquired, legitimate masters. Introducing the "Locked Room" label, specializing in rock and pop. This is a soundboard live recording of Jeff Healey, the blind guitar prodigy who plays everything from blues rock to jazz. This live performance from 1988, shortly after his debut, shows him being marketed as a blues-rock guitarist. As seen in the album cover, he has a unique style of playing with the guitar on his lap and fingering from above. As he was still relatively new to the music scene, the setlist is filled with well-known rock classics. He takes on the playing style of Eric Clapton with Cream's "White Room," Mike Bloomfield with Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone," Robbie Krieger with The Doors' "Roadhouse Blues," and Jimi Hendrix with "Foxy Lady." With each song, he attempts to emulate the playing of his respective guitar hero.
