This recording features Jimi Hendrix's live performance on April 25, 1970, at The Forum: Inglewood, CA, USA, the opening night of his 1970 American tour. As the first show of his final tour, Hendrix's motivation was high, and the band was in excellent condition. Despite being the first night, the performance was remarkably cohesive, the setlist was substantial, and it's a truly wonderful show. Three bonus tracks from his September 2nd performance in Denmark are included in soundboard format. Despite being an audience recording, the sound quality is excellent, with clear and well-defined sound separation and a stable, high-fidelity audio experience.
