This recording captures Joe Satriani's live performance at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, MA, on September 27, 2013, during the tour promoting his album *Unstoppable Momentum*. Deep Purple guitarist Steve Morse—who previously performed alongside Satriani on the G3 tour—appears as a guest with his own group, the Steve Morse Band. The playing is truly delightful to listen to. Joe Satriani's signature fluid, soaring guitar style leaves the listener feeling genuinely fired up and inspired. He is one of the few artists capable of delivering such polished, beautiful guitar work. It is a truly magnificent performance. You certainly shouldn't miss the performance by guest artist Steve Morse; while distinct from his work with Deep Purple, he delivers a sound that is both fluid and sharp. Although this is an audience recording, the quality is excellent, capturing a stable, clear sound with a great sense of presence.
