Fan-festival 2013 Tokyo performances saw the band's eight studio albums, each one perfectly recreated. The third day of the eight-night concert at Akasaka Blitz featured a recreation of "Europe Express." This recording features a superb audience recording comparable to a soundboard recording, capturing every detail from the opening surround sound introduction to the final performance. This release boasts astonishing sound quality, digitally remastered in 24-bit from the original high-quality master from the XAVEL label.
Following the familiar robot voice intro, the album's tracks are played one after the other, starting with "Europe Express." Then, from "Autobahn" to "Tour de France," a full selection of classic hits from each era is played. In a complete departure from the previous day's "perfect reproduction," this live performance differs from the album's track order. However, like the monochrome footage, the album's worldview, with its beautiful contrasting compositions of "hard" and "soft," is perfectly recreated. The popular track "Showroom Dummy" is also performed, providing a truly fulfilling experience unique to this day.
The album features fresh rhythm arrangements utilizing the latest electronics, as well as the tour's most notable feature: "pop-out" 3D visuals, and the venue's surround sound, which was meticulously crafted to match the visuals.
