This recording captures the opening night of the Michael Schenker Group's 50th Anniversary Universal Japan Tour 2022, held on November 21st at Nakano Sunplaza in Tokyo, Japan. This was their first live performance in Japan in four years, featuring Ronnie Romero as vocalist. The band primarily consisted of members who had also performed on Michael's studio albums, resulting in a fresh and exciting show. The songs performed were fantastic for fans, conveying the unique atmosphere and realism only found at an opening night performance. Despite being the first show, Michael was in superb form, making it a captivating performance from start to finish. The sound quality is excellent, as it's an audience recording with clear, immersive, and consistently high-fidelity audio.
