The live documentary "STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE" features professional footage and soundboard recordings of the performance. This is a small-scale live performance held at a London rehearsal studio by Oasis, who were already capable of drawing large crowds to large venues. This was a one-time special event planned for a video release, featuring new songs from the time and serving as preparation for a tour.

The documentary film, *STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE*, was edited to just under 50 minutes, with several songs cut from the actual live performance. This DVD includes both the cut songs and the edited footage. Of the four promotional videos released, three—"The Meaning Of Soul," "Champagne Supernova," and "I Am The Walrus"—are not included in the main release. Additionally, "Cigatettes & Alcohol" is a professionally shot video released only via web streaming, and is also not included in the main release.

In this way, the DVD respects *STANDING ON THE EDGE OF THE NOISE* as a complete work, without inserting any unreleased footage; the film is presented as a whole, and the unreleased songs are included separately. Please refer to the tracklist for details. The CD, on the other hand, is edited to follow the actual performance order, allowing listeners to hear the setlist from that day in the correct sequence. Although 21 songs were actually performed, the 17 tracks included on this album are currently the only ones that can be heard on the soundboard, and no audience recordings have been confirmed to exist. In any case, this album is the longest and most comprehensive recording currently available.
