This recording captures the Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here Tour 1975, held at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles, CA, on April 26th. This North American tour, which also served as a promotional tour for "Homura ~ I Wish You Were Here," overturned music industry conventions at the time by incorporating new material into the set prior to the album's release and performing the band's landmark album "The Dark Side of the Moon" in its entirety. The performance captured on this disc is from the highly acclaimed Los Angeles concert at the time, and remains a highly polished and exquisite live performance that remains fresh and polished even half a century later. The sound quality is exceptionally high, recorded on AUD. The CD is completely re-recorded from the original tapes of world-renowned taper Mike Millard, allowing you to enjoy the ultimate sound, with even the MC and tuning between songs faithfully recorded as they were back then.
