This is a recording from the final day of Rod Stewart's "BLONDS 'AVE MORE FUN" tour, which took place from 1978 to 1979. The only drawback is that the first two songs are missing, making it an incomplete recording, but it's still a valuable recording of the final day. The setlist includes covers of Sam Cooke and The Beatles, and even a version of just the chorus of "LAYLA," made famous by Clapton. And "DO YA THINK I"M "SEXY?" is performed twice, a generous treat. The equalization balance, which was extreme in the master, has been adjusted, resulting in this release as part of the "Brushed" series.

In recent years, the "Mike Millard Tapes" have been increasingly digitized from direct masters or low-generation tapes. These tapes were recorded by Mike Millard, a taper familiar to fans for his exceptional audience recording skills. The same label has released several recordings using these newly digitized Mike Millard Tapes as masters, in two patterns: "Brushed Mike Millard Tapes" and "Legendary Mike Millard Tapes." Not all Mike Millard Tapes have perfect sound quality; some have considerable room for improvement, and those that have been significantly edited and improved are in the "Brushed" series. Those that were originally near-perfect and had little room for improvement, with only minor edits such as light transitions between tracks, are in the "Legendary" series.
