A rare early live recording of Ry Cooder.

This recording captures a solo acoustic live performance in New York City in October 1973, using superb stereo soundboard audio.

While there are live recordings from the period of his fourth studio album, "Paradise and Ranch," released in '74, live recordings from '73 are rare, making this a very valuable find.

This performance features fantastic early tracks, including "Police Dog Blues" and "Going To Brownsville" from their 1970 debut, three songs from their 1971 second album "Into the Purple Valley" ("Billy The Kid," "FDR In Trinidad," and "Vigilante Man"), and "Comin' In On A Wing & A Prayer" from their 1971 third album "Boomer's Story."

In terms of sound quality, although it's a broadcast recording from that time, you can enjoy it in superb stereo soundboard quality.
