After many twists and turns, Timo Tolkki left the band, and with new guitarist Matias Kupiainen and Timo Kotipelto as leader, the newly reformed Stratovarius released their new album "POLARIS" and made a fresh start.

This coupling item features a complete recording of their September 10, 2009 concert at Shinsaibashi BIG CAT, the first day of their first Japan tour in three years, captured in high-quality audience recording, and a complete recording of their September 24th concert in Cleveland, captured in superb quality from leaked audio sources.

Although it marks their momentous 20th anniversary, none of the original members are still with them. Their real popularity began after Timo Kotipelto and Jens Johansson joined, so Timo Tolkki's departure is truly regrettable, but their melodic metal remains strong.

Starting with the classic "DESTINY," followed by the tried-and-true "HUNTING HIGH AND LOW" and "KISS OF JUDAS," along with four new songs, the metal ballad "FOREVER" (which was only performed at their Japanese shows), and concluding with their signature song "BLACK DIAMOND," this is a fantastic setlist that fans will surely appreciate.
