The Style Council, a superb unit that achieved a new musical style by fusing not only blue-eyed soul but also bossa nova, jazz, and more. Formed in 1983 and disbanded in 1990, this collection of early footage showcasing Paul Weller's brilliant talent is now being released! Having found success with their mini-album "Introducing," they confidently released their first album, "Cafe Bleu," in 1984. Their live performances at that time, while outwardly cool, were inwardly passionate, demonstrating the early blossoming of Paul Weller's musicality. Their second album, "Our Favourite Shop," was released the following year, and their performance at The Tube in October 1984, where they were already playing tracks from that album, is fantastic. The footage included in this collection is compiled from first-generation tapes recorded directly from television, so the quality is unmatched!
