Makuhari Messe Summer Sonic 2003 Tokyo Sunday, August 3, 2003 Chiba, Japan

The Doors of the 21st Century recorded this live performance at Summer Sonic 2003, Makuhari Messe, on August 3, 2003, with the audience present. Bassist Phillip Chen, who played on Jeff Beck's "Blow By Blow" and whose bass playing on Rod Stewart's "I'm Sexy" is particularly renowned, came to Japan as a member of the new Doors. His chemistry with the original Doors members was also evident in his time with The Butts Band. The band later changed its name to Riders on the Storm due to a feud with original member John Densmore, who was not a member of the band.
