Recorded Live at Shinagawa Prince Stellar Ball, Tokyo, Japan, June 13th, 2008

EDGUY, currently one of the central bands in the German metal scene.

This release features a complete recording of the December 8, 2010 Tokyo performance at Shinagawa Prince Stellar Ball by Avantasia, the solo project of Tobias Sammet, the singer and songwriter of EDGUY. The recording has been digitally remastered from the original audience master for exceptional sound quality.

Furthermore, the first 10 tracks from the June 13, 2008 performance at the same venue, featuring Andre Matos, are included as bonus tracks, also using the original master for a superb audience recording. The biggest highlight of this release is Michael Kiske's first performance in Japan in 17 years, and the encore speed tune "Shelter From the Rain," which finally sees Michael Kiske and guitarist Kai Hansen performing together for the first time since Helloween.

Jorn Lande, who played a key role in the DIO Tribute at this year's High Voltage Festival and also participated in the previous show, and Bob Catley of Magnum, making his first appearance in Japan, both delivered incredible vocals that belied his 63 years of age. Furthermore, Oliver Hartmann, the talented singer from At Vance, who participated on guitar and backing vocals, exploded onto the stage with "Stargazers."

With its superb recording quality that captures the atmosphere of the live performance, this magnificent, one-night-only metal opera by Tobias Sammet, who also demonstrates his incredible songwriting talent, and these great vocalists is simply phenomenal and will become legendary.
