Brought to you by the Alexander label, this is the first of Uli Jon Roth's 2015 Japan tour! This is his first performance in Japan, February 19th at Bottom Line Nagoya. This tour, celebrating Uli's 40th anniversary with the Scorpions, is a true Scorpions fest. With the exception of a Jimi Hendrix cover during the encore, every track is filled with Scorpions tunes from Uli's time with the band. The first day's live performance took place in a relatively small venue, and this set reflects its acoustics, resulting in ultra-high-quality sound that directly conveys the atmosphere of the venue. By mixing a high-quality audience master recorded in the venue's best acoustic position with the IEMs used by Nathan James, who is the lead vocalist for this Japan tour, we've corrected the vocals that tend to be lost in audience recordings, achieving sound quality on par with that of a soundboard. This tour also features Ule Ritgen of Fair Warning on bass. As a longtime friend from Electric Sun, the band's overall level of perfection is exceptional. Niklas Turman, who supports Uli on vocals and guitar, and David Krozinski create a triple harmony that's simply breathtaking!
