This recording captures Buddy Guy's live performance at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York, on August 8, 2013, during his U.S. tour. The tour took place just prior to the release of *Rhythm & Blues*—his first studio album in about three years—and features a magnificent performance; indeed, few other artists can stir up such passion and excitement in a listener.
