This is a rare live recording of the tragically short-lived trumpet prodigy, Clifford Brown. His co-led group with drummer Max Roach was one of the strongest collaborations of the bebop era. Sonny Rollins, who recently passed away, is featured on saxophone. This is a radio broadcast recording, but the live performance itself was likely recorded by an audience member, which was restored by an overseas enthusiast, and then remastered by the label to remove any muddiness in the sound. However, please note that the sound quality is not particularly high considering the quality of audience recordings in recent years.
