This CD contains a recording of Eric Clapton's live performance at Royal Albert Hall, London, England on May 13, 2019. This was the first of three London shows, following their Japanese tour in April. The biggest surprise was the encore performance of Prince's hit song "Purple Rain," which left the audience visibly astonished, and their rapt attention to Eric's rendition was palpable. The overall performance was superb, thanks to the ample time Eric had taken after the Japan tour, and the setlist itself was filled with captivating songs, including an electric version of the hit song "Layla," which was a hit at the Japanese shows. It was a fantastic live performance. The sound quality is excellent, as it was recorded using high-quality audio sources, resulting in a well-balanced and clear sound with excellent presence.
