Introducing the "Mike Millard Tapes," recorded by Mike Millard, a taper familiar to fans for his exceptional audience recording skills. Several recordings using the Mike Millard tapes as masters have been released by the same label, but if you look closely, you may have noticed that there are two types: the "Brushed Mike Millard Tapes" and the "Legendary Mike Millard Tapes." Not all of the Mike Millard tapes have perfect sound quality; some have been significantly edited and improved, and the "Brushed" series features recordings that have been extensively edited and improved. The "Legendary" series, on the other hand, features recordings that were originally close to perfect with little room for improvement, and only minor edits such as light editing between tracks are made.

This time, we have a Roxy Music performance from 1980 from the "Legendary" series. With Phil Collins taking the lead, the band steadily accumulated hit songs starting with 1976's "Trick of a Tale," and these were reflected in their live performances. This 1980 tour finally featured classics from the UK chart-topping album "Duke," such as "Dutches," "Miss Understanding," and "Turn It On Again," as well as the epic "Duke's Travels/Duke's End." The other songs were also incredibly impressive, with "Deep in the Motherlord" followed by the intro to "Moonlight Knight." From there, it transitioned into "Carpet Crawler," and immediately after Phil's "Grivenin', everyone," they launched into "Squonk!" It was breathtakingly cool. "In the Cage" included "The Colony of Slippermen," showing that they also performed songs from the Gabriel era with great enthusiasm. The grand finale was the familiar "Dance on a Volcano," followed by a drum duet and then "Los Endos."
