This is a video compilation of Michael Jackson's origins, the Jackson 5 and the Jacksons. Disc 1 features television appearances and promotional videos. Footage from his debut and other performances clearly show why he was hailed as a genius. Disc 2 features three live performances. One is a 1973 performance on the TV show "Soul Train," around the time "Dancing Machine" was released. The next footage is a live performance in Mexico in 1975, and since the band moved to Sony the following year and became the Jacksons, this is likely the last comprehensive live performance footage of the Jackson 5. Jermaine does not participate in this performance. The final footage is a 1979 London performance, previously released on VHS, from the time of the album "Destiny." Each footage gives a glimpse of Michael's youthful talent.
