This release captures Jeff Beck's live performance at the "Best of Blues Festival 2014" in Brazil on May 10, 2014. This event took place after he had wrapped up his Asian tour—which followed shows in Japan, Australia, and South Korea. Backed by a band that included the popular bassist Tal Wilkenfeld and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, Jeff delivered a spirited performance. The setlist features songs that are sure to delight longtime fans, and perhaps because he was enjoying a break after the Asian tour, Jeff himself plays in a very relaxed yet energetic manner. His current favorite vocalist, Joss Stone, also makes a guest appearance, adding a special touch to the show. Tal Wilkenfeld takes the lead vocals on "You Shook Me," showcasing an impressive singing voice. It is an excellent concert overall. Regarding sound quality: although it is an audience recording, the audio is superb, offering consistent clarity and a vivid sense of presence throughout.
